Eagles Ice Center - Grand Rapids MI

Not only is it something worth trying, but there’s no age limit on giving it a try, and at the Eagles Ice Center, there are programs to help people of all ages learn to skate and place ice hockey, so why not give it a try?

From scratch

If you’ve never played ice hockey before, or never skated, that’s not something you should let stop you from trying it. Eagles Ice Center offers programs to help people of all ages and skill levels, so you can start from zero here! The idea of joining a club when you’re a complete beginner can be scary, no matter what age you are, but if you want to get serious about something, you have to start somewhere – and Eagles Ice Center could be that place!

For younger ages

Ice hockey can be a great activity for younger ages to take part in too, and it’s a good sport to keep your kids active and healthy! You’ll find that the earlier you get into it, the faster you can get good at something – so if your kids are interested, now is the time to give it a look! They have a high school team, for the Grand Rapids Christian High School, and an instructional class for college students. Ice hockey can be an exhilarating competitive sport, perfect for those who want to take their ice hockey to a new level.

Older hockey players

There are leagues where you can play competitively or for fun even when you’re past college and high school age. It can be a great way to meet new people and get a fun workout at the same time while keeping things somewhat competitive! If you’re looking to take things seriously, Eagles Ice Center has an adult competitive league for you to take part in, and you’ll have the opportunity to play ice hockey seriously against others who want the same!

Ice Eagles Center has also just introduced their new skate sharpening service, meaning that you don’t have to worry about keeping your skates sharp on your own, one less thing to think about or invest in! 

If you’re looking to try something new, or somewhere you can put your ice hockey skills to the test, Eagles Ice center is the perfect place for it, and they’re also planning to have open community events in the future, making it a more open environment for people of all kinds!
