Caledonia, Michigan is a village in Kent County, Michigan. At the 2010 census, the population was 1,511. It is part of the Caledonia Township and is about 15 miles southeast of Grand Rapids. Residents in Caledonia are mostly white. Its name derives from the Caledonia River. This small, quiet city is a great place to raise a family or just to visit. No matter where you live, you’ll find plenty to like in Caledonia, and there are plenty of things to do there.
The village is located in Kent County, and has a population of 1,102. The township covers an area of approximately 1.4 square miles (3.6 km2). It has nine public schools. The Caledonia Community School district operates the local high school. Glenmor High School is an alternative school. Its economy is supported by manufacturing and agriculture.
